The Snohomish Conservation District (SCD) has an opening for a full time Communications and Outreach Program Manager position.
Primary duties include programmatic oversight and staff supervision for SCD Communications and Outreach Program; leading coordination of outreach, education, and recognition events; management of external communications including brand development, media relationships, and publication oversight of all public-facing documents; and production of communications products for all SCD programs. A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; five years of professional experience including program management, staff supervision, and event coordination; knowledge of local and regional conservation issues; and demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse community members and partners, deliver strategic communications to elected officials and funders and, develop outreach and behavior change strategies for the public.
